This may be a remake but it is wicked funny. Jim Carrey movies are almost always good, but this is something else altogether! This is one of the best Christmas movies of all time. You might even consider switching out your Grinch cartoon advent tradition for this hilarious movie! I've seen it 15 times and I'd still watch it again and again and again! It is really, really good!

Just hear me out. I know that this isn't really a christmas movie but it's the story of fake Jesus. Of course, it's also hilarious and that justifies almost anything, including that it's not actually a christmas movie. The Life of Brian is the story of Brian, a young man who, when he accidentally falls on top of a holy man, unwittingly becomes the son of god.

Now, I wouldn't necessarily call this movie hilarious. However, there are some funny parts and the movie is quite entertaining in other ways, too. It's the story of a young boy who really wanted a BB gun for christmas and nobody thinks he can handle it.
