3: Reindeer Noses (Preferably Rudolph Noses!)
I am not a master chef by any stretch of the word, but I do appreciate food... a lot! I first tried these when visiting family for Thanksgiving this year and, as we won't be seeing this particular group of family for Christmas itself, we had a little Christmas celebration the day after turkey day. These snacks are awesome. It's simply a Hershey's kiss with an M&M on top (make them Rudolph noses by picking only red M&Ms),and put all of that chocolate on top of a nice, salty pretzel. You freeze them in order to get the whole thing to stick together. It is truly one of the best things to eat in front of the TV at Christmas time.
2: Peanut Butter Blossoms
These are delicious no matter what you're doing at Christmas, so I'm assuming they'd be good while watching movies too! Surprisingly, they are quite similar to Rudolph noses except these have cookies with the chocolate instead of pretzels. Mmmmm, Mmmmmmmm, Mmmmmmmm. Just sit back with a glass of milk, Peanut Butter Blossoms, and a good ole Christmas Classic (like Rare Exports :) ). It would be the best Advent night ever!!!
1: Peppermint Bark
Peppermint Bark is a Christmas Classic! (at least for me) and they make a great, if incredibly high calorie, snack to have beside you if you're watching almost any Christmas movie. It is also incredibly easy to make. So easy that even I could make it! Between you and me, that's saying quite a strong thing! All you do is melt white chocolate (I know, White Chocolate is usually terrible, but in this, it's quite awesome) and pour it into one of those pan thingies that you cook brownies in. Then you crush candy canes into a million tiny pieces (I find that my brother's head works well as a mallet for this part) and sprinkle the candy over the hopefully still hot white chocolate. My bark tends to have blood in it because of my mallet choices, but hey, it's worth it!
