Nacho Libre Film Review, Synopsis, Posters, Trailer

Review

DO NOT WATCH THIS MOVIE!!!!! It is truly awful! I don't think I have ever seen a worse kid's movie.
Well, that's not exactly true. The Secret of Kells was unwatchable and Nacho Libre was watchable, if only slightly.
I guess, if you like really dumb humor, you'll like Nacho Libre. The only thing that could make this movie funny is the how stupid it is. It's one of those movies that makes humor by making large men jump repeatedly on top of small men and then get beat up by the small men. It's also the kind of movie where humor means characters pooping in thier pants or wiping boogers across their faces slowly and dramatically, leaving most of the stuff on their faces.
I, personally, had to leave in the middle of the movie and only come back right at the end. I couldn't sit through the same, stupid jokes over and over.
I agree with the reviewer of Nacho Libre on Rotten Tomatoes: "At times hilarious, but other times offensive, Director Jared Hess is unable to recapture the collective charisma of his Napoleon characters, instead relying on a one-joke concept that runs out of steam. Sure to entertain the adolescents, however. ". However, I thought that the reviewer was far too kind and it wasn't even slightly funny. I'de give it 10%.

Summary

Nacho Libre is the story of an orphanage chef by the name of Enrique who wanted, all his life, to be a boxer. He teams up with a bad ass homeless man and together, they defeat the great Ramses, a jerky pro wrestler who has stepped all over people for too long.
