Bully Movie Review, Synopsis, Posters, Trailer

Review

This movie was incredibly touching! I don't think I have ever seen a movie that touched me emotionally more than Bully. The movie was very sad, intense, and, in the end, sort of happy.
This movie really makes you think that, even if we're trying to change, the children who killed themselves due to bullying aren't going to get their lives back no matter how many papers and petitions we sign or how many speeches we make.
The movie itself was an entertaining watch. However, avoid watching this movie if you are looking for a nice, happy flick. Bully is incredibly depressing in some parts.
Also, I'll be the one to say it. Even though it has a good purpose and everything, it's a little bit boring. You don't need to kill me for saying it, I'm just writing with a reviewer's eye. This movie is a documentary, no matter how intense or Hollywoody.
The movie Bully was definitely an interesting watch. I wouldn't watch it again on my own time but it's great if you've got nothing else you need to do. I know, I know. I'm evil! I'm actually giving a message movie like this a 3 star review! Shoot me! Don't get me wrong: I think the idea of the movie gets 5 stars, I just didn't think the movie itself was really great.

 Summary

Bully is a documentary made by director Lee Hirsch. It follows kids from all over the country (However, it's mostly in the south) who are bullied. Two of the kids it follows commit suicide (I said it was depressing) and the rest have relatively happy endings. To my surprise, there is a lot of the actual bullying caught on tape.
